Had a good semi fasting day today. Green Salad with carrots and green pepper for lunch. After work today, my son and I went for a 5 1/2 Mile hike around Stone Mountain, a huge Granite Outcropping about five miles from where we live. There is a trail around the mountain which goes by all these pretty little lakes. The only problem was that several folks were late to the hike and it was between 10:30 and 11:00 before we finished. I was famished and must admit that I had a bowl of cheese doodles and a diet coke after I got back, after I managed to avoid getting anything at Wendy's with my son. Still all in all, considering my overall food intake, eating a healthy salad for lunch and the amount of exercise not a bad day. I should sleep like a baby tonite.

I am heading out to California tomorrow in the afternoon. I plan on getting to the airport early enough so that I can get some exercise walking up and down the concourses, which can burn off the calories. I would prefer to be flying on a no eating day, but will do my best to enjoy my eating day tomorrow ( within moderation.) I will have a laptop with me so I will try to do a blog posting at least one day, and check on what you guys are up to. I don't know about Curly; she is sort of MIA and I don't know if she is going to do any more posts on her blog. Hope everyone has a great week until I get the chance to post again.

Have a good trip to California. If Curly never returns to the blogging world, her contribution to "the movement" (her fantastic soup recipe) made her short time here invaluable and indispensable.

Sounds like an epitaph but I'm sure she's fine. I guess we should wait until at least September before we start eulogizing formally. :)
