It Saturday night, and my wife and I are getting back from a quick turnaround trip to our house in South Georgia. Really I just went down to do yardwork, which was getting really behind since we haven't been down in two to three weeks. When we got down there there last night there was a huge rain storm, which was no walk in the park to drive through. I got up early this morning and was out in the yard about 8:00 AM. In addition to cutting the grass and blowing out the carport, I trimmed several bushes that were threatening to overtake the front of the house. My riding lawn mower went belly up a couple of months ago, so I had to use a push mower, which is no picknic. We have a big yard, 1.6 Acres, but the back is sort of natural, with ground cover, trees and shrubs, and the so I only have grass on about half of that. Still, I felt pretty whipped, and then I had to drive us back to Atlanta, which takes a little more than three hours. All this and it is a fasting day. I plan on getting up early in the morning for a nice breakfast.

Hope everyone has a nice weekend...

George

No doubt. That sounds like a lot of work. Do you think you have more energy on a no-eat day or an eating day?

Well that's a good question Jason. Sometimes I feel like I have more energy on noneating days; maybe it's just not having to spend time cooking and eating. I did do my share of eating today and it did taste very good.

Actually after seeing Smoochums post, I feel like a whiner about a little stupid yardwork. She's the one that's been doing the heavy lifting ( literally and figuratively) and I hope you she and her little one have a better week this week.

George I did yardwork today, and trust me it is alot harder than rocking a baby!

Except the yard doesn't cry when you stop paying attention to it, and tax your sanity 24/7. Child care is emotionally draining!
